How a project runs

Four stages, one fee agreed up front, and a weekly note so you always know where things are.

  1. A designer's desk with a sketchbook, fabric samples and dried grass in a glass vase
    Week 1

    Visit

We walk the rooms with you, measure everything and talk about how you live and what you can spend. Two hours, £250, taken off the fee if you go ahead.

  2. A white architectural model of a small house on a plinth
    Weeks 2 to 6

    Concept

Plans, a sample board and a written budget you can hold us to. Nothing is ordered until you sign it off.

  3. A designer drawing a floor plan by hand with a pencil and a ruler
    Weeks 6 to 12

    Drawings

Joinery, lighting and finishes drawn for the builders, so nothing is guessed on site.

  4. A white bedroom under a vaulted ceiling with a low bed and linen throw
    Month 4 onwards

    Install

We run the trades and deliveries, then style every room before you move back in.

See the room before anything is built

We model every room in 3D before a single piece is ordered, so you see the layout, the light and the materials first. Drag across to turn the wireframe into the finished room.

In our clients' own words

4.9 out of 5 from 52 reviews

We asked for a house that felt calm with three children in it. It does, most days, and the sofa has survived all of them.
Margaret EllisHomeowner, Valley House, Ilkley
Seven weeks, one bathroom, no surprises on the invoice. The carved sink is the best thing in the flat.
Tom ReyesHomeowner, Hollis Bathroom, Islington
They listened to how we actually live, then quietly talked me out of two of my ideas. They were right both times.
Amara OseiHomeowner, Laurel Flat, Hackney
Guests mention the window chairs in their reviews. We have not had one complaint about the light since we reopened.
Hanna LindGeneral manager, Lumen Hotel, Bath
The drawings were so clear that our builder in Comporta stopped calling us with questions. That has never happened before.
Joel BrandtHomeowner, Casa Alba, Comporta
