The brief
A new build on the coast for a family who spend summers there and want to rent it the rest of the year. It had to survive guests and still feel like a home.
Our approach
Every wall corner is rounded and limewashed, the floors are one travertine tile inside and out, and the built-in seating means there is very little furniture to break.

The result
The house has been rented for two seasons with no damage beyond one chipped glass. The owners now spend Easter there too.
